VISP stands for Vlad Ioachimescu and Stefan Alexandru Bacriu (a.k.a. SPD), a project born following an unplanned encounter. Having similar musical backgrounds, things went smoothly between the two of them and so they formed a duo creating music that speaks for themselves. With the passage of time the unique sound of VISP took shape, characterized by their chemistry and devotion when together in the studio.

Each side of VISP had its contribution, Vlad's experience in live performance and Stefan's music production knowledge as a University of Derby Music Technology graduate. Combining hip-hop, rock, and reggae as main influences, Vlad transformed himself into a polyvalent artist. Unusual production techniques, not so common musical keys and syncopes inspired from other genres, such as metal and alternative, indie and rock subgenres is what differentiates SPD from the mainstream.
